Bahlsen

Bahlsen is one of Europe's largest biscuit and cake manufacturers. Claire has been responsible for handling their M&S business since 1999. Bahlsen is now M&S's fourth largest biscuit supplier, with a product range which includes both Core and Seasonal lines. In addition to her commercial role, Claire has been involved in the implementation of key M&S ingredients policies (such as the use of non-GM raw materials, and free-range eggs), and in facilitating hygiene and ethical trading initiatives.

Access Far East
|
|
Access Far East is a London-based company established to source and develop hardware items from the Far East to complement quality products, primarily in the food and horticulture areas, for major UK and European manufacturers and retailers. Its main customers are suppliers to Marks & Spencer, so items have to be made to the highest standards of hygiene, product quality and ethical trading.
Claire has been responsible for the commercial and customer liaison aspects of the business since September 2003.

Kees Beyers
|
|
Kees Beyers Chocolates is a specialist chocolate manufacturer based near Johannesburg, South Africa. They manufacture an extensive range of premium quality chocolate products, both Seasonal and All Year Round, launching their first range into the UK via Marks & Spencer in March 2004.
Claire was appointed Kees Beyers' UK point of contact for M&S development in December 2003.

Kinnerton
|
|
Kinnerton Confectionery specialises in character licensing. It is now Marks & Spencer's largest confectionery supplier, and retained Claire between 1997 and summer 2003 to handle commercial liaison and sales to M&S. In a typical year Kinnerton launches c.150 new lines in M&S. This is a complex operation, requiring extensive product development and delivery against tight deadlines for both Core and Seasonal business.

Trigon Snacks
|
|
Claire was contracted by Trigon Snacks from 1997-2000 to handle sales and liaison with M&S Savouries for a range of nut and fruit products. This included the annual development and launch of an extensive selection of processed and unprocessed nut and fruit mixes for Christmas.

Walkers
|
|
Claire worked for Walkers Snack Foods from 1989 to 1996, variously as Export Sales Manager, National Account Manager (Marks & Spencer), and National Account Manager (Private Label). Latterly she was Trading Controller, Private Label, with overall responsibility for all private label sales of crisps, snacks, and nuts to the key UK grocery multiples.
