Ross Speirs is an experienced designer and typographer. He graduated from university in South Africa, and later studied typography at the London College of Printing. After 10 years working as an in-house designer, he established Colophon in 1979.

Ross believes that clarity and communication are paramount in information design, and that only graphic elements serving these ends have any place in a finished piece.

Andy Maslen is an outstanding copywriter and marketing strategist. He has a thorough understanding of client needs and expectations, having worked for 12 years in the business information industry as a marketeer. Andy set up Sunfish in 1996. His clients include large and small companies in Europe and the US.

Andy and Ross have worked together regularly since 1992.

Louise Wilkinson studied fine art for two years. From there she specialised in graphic design, doing her degree at Norwich School of Art. She has worked as a designer for 18 years; initially on AV presentations for conferences and seminars and later becoming more involved with design for print.

Louise has been a regular designer on Colophon projects since 1998.

Todd Jones received his City & Guilds in Design for Print at The London College of Printing back in the eighties. Since then he has worked for several agencies on many blue chip accounts. He has a meticulous eye for detail and a love of typography.

Todd began working on Colophon projects during 2005.
